The 2026 FINNGOALIE Summer Weekly Elite Training Program is designed as an intensive off-season development experience for competitive goaltenders looking to elevate their performance heading into the upcoming season. The program consists of six high-level on-ice development sessions combined with specialized off-ice training.
On-Ice Goaltender Training
All on-ice sessions are specifically designed for goaltender development and will feature qualified goaltending instructors along with special guest coaches throughout the summer.
Training sessions will include high-level shooters to ensure game-realistic execution, proper puck placement, and elite training intensity in controlled drill environments.

- Angles & Depth Management
- Stick Control
- Active Hands & Glove/Blocker Control
- Behind-the-Net Attack Techniques
- Puckhandling & Decision Making
- Directing Traffic & Communication
- Tips, Screens & Deflection Management
- Battle Situations & Desperation Saves

Off-Ice Goaltender-Specific Dryland Training
Off-ice training sessions will be led by a certified personal trainer and are designed specifically for goaltender athletic development, mobility, explosiveness, and conditioning.

Please Note: No dryland session will be held on Natal Day Monday.
